One of the questions I get asked most is: “Wait, you actually come to our house?” Yes — and it’s one of my favorite parts of practicing this way.
Here’s why home visits matter so much, especially for young families: when your child is sick, the last thing you want to do is bundle up a feverish toddler, wake a napping baby, and drag everyone into a waiting room full of other sick kids. A home visit means your child gets seen in their own space, in their own routine, without the extra stress.
It also means I get to see things a 15-minute office visit never reveals — how your home is set up for a new baby, whether the stairs need a gate, how your toddler behaves in their own environment versus a sterile exam room. That context makes for better, more personal care.
I offer home visits within 25 miles of Manor, TX, which covers North and Central Austin, Round Rock, and Elgin. For anything that doesn’t require an in-person visit, we can also connect over telehealth — whichever makes the most sense for your family that day.
At the end of the day, my goal is simple: meet families where they are — literally and figuratively — so you never feel like you’re navigating your child’s health alone.
